Have you ever asked yourself these questions?
Why it is that some children love learning and mine is continuing to struggle?
Is it possible to leave behind arguing and fighting and learn how to focus on my child’s strengths?
If so, I’d like to invite you to the Parenting Your Learning Challenged Child Telesummit, an online event that will be running from January 4th to January 14th, 2016. Hosted by a mother-daughter team of clinicians, this free telesummit focuses on helping parents develop positive, strength-based parenting strategies. Experts from a wide variety of backgrounds have come together to share their unique perspectives and to offer effective techniques for parents to add to their parenting tool kits.
I’m thrilled to be a part of this telesummit! In my interview, I’ll share a bit about the unschooling philosophy and offer strategies for parents who want to create an unschooling environment for their children.
Other topics of the telesummit include: dyslexia, ADHD, parental self-care, nutrition, executive function, neurodiversity, mindfulness and learning disabilities – just to name a few.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to be a part of a global movement that inspires exceptional children’s success and empowerment? Let’s partner together to promote positive, strength-based parenting all over the world!
