Only as I began to seek the children’s approval could I concentrate on individual needs and differences. If you want a certai nperson to like you, then you find out what makes him or her happy. I began to realize that I could not teach much to anyone unless the person liked me a lot.

Hmm … on documentation. Have you heard of accredible? It’s an online portfolio type thing and has the potential to be used for so much more than just what schools require. It can show that a student has learnt how to love somebody, how to be famous, how to be rich or poor, how to know what’s going on in someone else’s mind, what to say to someone who’s dying, or really, anything worth knowing.
