Friends, it’s been a while, I know. Life has been keeping me busy these days, and what little time there has been for writing has been devoted to two new children’s books that are in the works. But tonight, my husband graciously ushered all of the small people out of our home for some good old-fashioned fun, leaving me the house to myself.
“Honey, maybe you could sneak in a post,” he mentioned on his way out the door. Hmmm….maybe I could, I thought. And so, here I am. But what to write? As I glanced through my posts, I nearly flashed past one marked “untitled”. But my eyes registered it just in the nick of time, and I decided to take a peek. Probably an old quote I forgot to label, I guessed. But no; it was a story, fully written, but not published. Why? Because I hadn’t had time to title it before my busy world called me back from the silent space of writing. And so it has sat patiently in cyber-space for far too long, waiting for me to return, give it a title, and send it out into the world.
Tonight, I did just that. It’s a little dated – those of you who know our family will soon realize that the twins are nearly two birthdays away from the seven-year olds in the story – but the message itself is timeless, I think. I hope you’ll enjoy Silencing the Expert Within. And I hope to be back soon. Until then, take good care!
